Case Study Details
I was inspired by 90’s Saturday Morning cartoons for this design. I leaned heavier into the scrappy lineart that defined the era.
I went for a hybrid of tattered ears not forgetting he’s a rat, while having his outfit being inspired by the Mod Squad.
Random Inspirations
these really brought me into perspective. The huge nose, tattered whiskers or big feet — I was sold. I didn’t however go with the exaggerated foot here, I still took some inspo in other features.
